• Release Versions

  The current release is downloadable from Sourceforge via the project's file release page

  • http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=2228

  If you register with SourceForge you can have an email sent notifying you when a new version is released.

  Previous release versions are also available from the above link

• CVS Versions

  The very latest version is also available via CVS from the SourceForge site.

  Don't forget to check the FAQ if you run into problems running or installing it. The FAQ also includes details regarding the requirements for running the compiler. If you run into a problem not covered by the FAQ, try posting the details to the Mailing List, where we'll try to answer your question (and I can then update the FAQ with the problem and solution).

• Snapshot Versions

  Alternatively if you don't want to tangle with CVS, the latest snapshots can be downloaded via the Snapshots page.

• Archive Versions

  These are the (now out of date) Pre-Releases. You're free to download them, although they are nowhere near a functioning system. You can also download Clint's parser seperately if you like (which is superceeded by the version above), although it is included in maverick-0.0.0c, which contains -

  • Version 0.1 of Clint's Parser (to eventually become the Basic to C translator)
  • Anthony's work on the Filesystem - now complete, includes tools to build it.
  • David Rose's work on a DataBasic compiler.
  • Rob Cakebreads work on a DataBasic interpreter.
  • Keith Johnson's line editor, written in DataBasic, called LED. Keith has since released version 1.1 of his line editor. I will eventually be putting it up on the SourceForge site, however, if you're interested in a copy of it before that, email me.
